About

I am a practice-based researcher, artist, educator, and filmmaker exploring embodied memory, maternal narratives, and diasporic experience. My work bridges theoretical inquiry and artistic practice, using film, performance, photography, and workshops to reimagine how we engage with historical trauma, shame, and relationality. Through MTC Digital Creative, I also collaborate with individuals, institutions, communities to develop interactive courses, creative projects, and workshops that integrate visual storytelling, writing, and participatory methods.

Practice-Based Research

My PhD research investigates Irish maternal and diasporic memory through embodied methodologies. Working at the intersection of philosophy, film, performance, and transnational feminisims, I explore how the body itself is a site of knowledge—bodily, psychically, relationally, and politically. Through experimental film, breathwork, reading groups, and participatory workshops, I examine the silences surrounding controlled maternity, migration, and gendered exclusion, considering how memory can be reactivated as a site of responsibility, solidarity, and justice.

Creative Practice & Teaching

I have extensive experience as a photographer, filmmaker, and creative facilitator, collaborating with organisations, schools, and cultural institutions to develop interactive learning experiences. My work spans photography, documentary and experimental film, poetry, and visual storytelling, often engaging with themes of identity, affect, and memory. I co-design and lead workshops and courses that encourage participants to explore creative methodologies in both personal and professional contexts.
